I reached a milestone in my life earlier this year, I have now been in my wheelchair longer than I have walked, and as such have surpassed more than 10,000 days.

The Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation approached me to to do a feature story about this and this video is the result, hope you enjoy!

Please donate to the tax appeal for the Foundation to find a cure for spinal cord injuries and help myself and others be able to walk again.

In Australia around one person sustains a spinal cord injury every day, and many of these individuals are under the age of 24. There are currently 20,000 Australians living with spinal cord injury. Aside from the personal trauma, the cost to our society to care for spinal injured people is $2 billion a year. Without an effective cure for spinal cord injury, the emotional and financial costs to individuals, their families and to our community are life-long.

All donations over two dollars a tax deductible and as you know, every little bit helps.

Let’s find a cure together!
